Froðba is a village in Suðuroy, Faroe Islands. This photo was taken from the ferry Smyril M/S on the 1st of March 2010. The landscape is covered in snow. Along the street to the left one can see the columnar basalt. The black house next to a red one in the centre of the photo was the home of Poul F. Joensen, a famous Faroese poet.
