USA's delstatsflag

The flag of Utah (2024-present). This is the final design submitted for consideration to be adopted as a new state flag of Utah. The design evokes images of snowy mountains and red rocks to represent the geography of Utah, the beehive represents "Industry" (the state's slogan) and Utah's nickname as "the Beehive State".
The Vermont state flag—as adopted on 01 May 1804—was a 17 stars-and-stripes U.S. flag with “VERMONT” embroidered along the top. The colours are from the U.S. flag; White, Old Glory Blue (Pantone 281, #002664), and Old Glory Red (Pantone 193, #BB133E).
Note: Vermont expected a change in the U.S. flag from 15 to 17 stars-and-stripes with the addition of Tennessee and Ohio to the Union. (Much as it changed from 13 to 15 stars-and-stripes with the addition of Vermont and Kentucky) The U.S. flag did not actually change until 1818 (20 stars and 13 stripes), and so this Vermont state flag had more stripes than the official U.S. flag.

The fontface has been changed to w:en:Times New Roman, since that matches the GA SoS image. The Burnet Flag, used from December 10, 1836 to January 25, 1839 as the national flag of the Republic of Texas. It was replaced by the currently used "Lone Star Flag".

--Pumbaa 19:41, 29 March 2006 (UTC)Flag of Mississippi January 26, 1861 to circa August 22, 1865. It remained the unofficial flag until 1894, when the current flag was adopted. According to Clay Moss, Mississippi Department of Archives and History, Vexillological Research Volunteer on June 21, 2015 at the Flags of the World website, this flag is likely a post-war flag used by United Confederate Veterans units, as it does not conform to the 1861 language describing adoption of a new secessionist flag: "A Flag of white ground, a Magnolia tree in the centre, a blue field in the upper left hand corner with a white star in the centre, the Flag to be finished with a red border and a red fringe at the extremity of the Flag."
