UEFA Champions League 1997-98 var den 43. udgave af UEFA's fornemmeste klubturnering og den sjette siden rebradingen til UEFA Champions League. Turneringen blev vundet af Real Madrid for første gang i 32 år, da de slog Juventus med 1-0 i finalen, en finale der var tabernes tredje finale i træk. Dette var også starten på tre sejre på fem sæsoner for den spanske giganter.
Denne sæson var den første til at have seks grupper, i modsætning til fire i den foregående turnering, hvilket betød, at kun to gruppe-andenpladser kvalificerede sig til kvartfinalen, i modsætning til alle de næstebedste hold året før. Det var også den første til at have to kvalifikationsrunder i stedet for bare én. Efter tre år hvor de mindre nationers mestre havde deltaget i UEFA Cuppen, vendte de nu tilbage til Champions League.

Ulster Banner is a heraldic banner taken from the former coat of arms of Northern Ireland. It was used by the Northern Ireland government in 1953-1973 with Edwardian crown since coronation of Queen Elizabeth II, based earlier design with Tudor Crown from 1924. Otherwise known as the Ulster Flag, Red Hand of Ulster Flag, Red Hand Flag.
