The 1st generation of the mighty Nissan Patrol. The 4W60, with a similar look to the Willys Jeep, was introduced in 1951. It had the 3700 litre NAK Nissan Bus engine. The update in 1955, the 4W61 got the better NB engine, still 3700 litre, some chrome bars in the grille, a 1 piece windshield and chrome strips on the hood. The 2nd update in 1958 got redesigned front fenders and hood and all bars in the grille were chrome, Patrol badges on the side of the hood, a 4.0 litre in 1959.
Replaced by the G60 series in 1960
