Mesterholdenes Europa Cup finale 1979 var en fodboldkamp der blev spillet den 30. maj 1979. Kampen blev spillet foran 57.000 tilskuere på Olympiastadion i den vesttyske by München, og skulle finde vinderen af Mesterholdenes Europa Cup 1978-79. De deltagende hold var engelske Nottingham Forest og svenske Malmö FF. Det var kulminationen på den 24. udgave af Europa Cuppen siden etableringen af Europas fineste turnering for klubhold i 1955. Det var tredje år i træk at et engelsk hold var i finalen, og tredje år i træk at de vandt.
For begge hold var det første gang at de stod i en europæisk finale.[1]
Trevor Francis sørgede for kampen eneste mål, da han i de sidste sekunder af 1. halvleg bragte englænderne foran 1-0.
Kampen blev ledet af den østrigske dommer Erich Linemayr.
