K-1
K-1 er en type kampsport som kombinerer teknikker fra Thaiboksning, karate, taekwondo, savate, «San Shou», kickboxing og traditionel boksning. Det blev grundlagt i 1993
Det er også navnet på organisationen som arrangerer denne kampsport. Denne organisation styres af Fighting and Entertainment Group (FEG) i Japan. De arrangerer diverse kampe/turneringer, inklusive MMA (DREAM-turneringer).
I Danmark blev der arrangeret et K-1-stævne i 2001.
K-1 World Grand Prix
Hvert år afholdes 16-mannaturneringer for at finde de 16 bedste til at stille op i K-1 World Grand Prix.

Typical gear for Muay Thai-pads-training. Forearm pads for hard kicking, punching, elbow strikes; abdomen shield for knee strikes and push kicks; shin guards to encourage blocking of counter kicks. Pad training is to develop striking and clinching skills as well as for overall conditioning.
