Japan Open Tennis Championships er en tennisturnering for mænd, som hvert år i oktober afvikles i Ariaka Coliseum i Tokyo, Japan som en del af ATP Tour i kategorien ATP Tour 500. Turneringen er siden 2010 blevet spillet under navnet Rakuten Open Tennis Championships på grund af et sponsorat fra Rakuten.
Turneringen er traditionelt blevet spillet indendørs, men fra 2010-udgaven blev er den blevet afviklet udendørs i Ariake Coliseum.
Turneringen blev afviklet for første gang i 1972, og fra 1973 til 1989 var den en del af grand prix-serien i tennis. I 1990 blev turneringen optaget på den nystiftede ATP Tour. I perioden fra 1979 til 2010 havde den endvidere deltagelse af kvinder, og kvinderækkerne var en del af WTA Tour til og med 2008, hvorefter den blev nedgraderet til ITF Women's Circuit.
Turneringen blev ikke afviklet i 2020 og 2021 på grund af COVID-19-pandemien.

Chinese Taipei Olympic Flag. According to the official website of Chinese Taipei Olympic Committee, Blue Sky(circle) & White Sun(triangles) above the Olympic rings is neither the National Emblem of the Republic of China, nor the Party Emblem of Kuomintang (KMT), but a design in between, where the triangles do not extend to the edge of the blue circle, as registered at International Olympic Committee in 1981 and digitally rendered in 2013. Besides, the blue outline of the five-petaled plum blossom is broader than the red one. Moreover, the CMYK code of the blue one and the Blue Sky & White Sun is "C100-M100-Y0-K0", and different from the Olympic rings (C100-M25-Y0-K0). Note that it's the only version recognized by IOC.
