Federation Cup 1980 var den 18. udgave af Fed Cup, den kvindelige pendant til mændenes Davis Cup, arrangeret af International Tennis Federation. Mesterskabet havde deltagelse af 32 hold, og turneringen blev spillet udendørs på grusbaner i Lawn Tennis Turnier Club "Rot-Weiß" i Vestberlin i perioden 19. - 25. maj 1980. Vestberlin var Fed Cup-værtsby for anden gang.
Turneringen blev vundet af de forsvarende mestre fra USA, som i finalen besejrede Australien med 3-0. Det var femte år i træk, og syvende gang i alt, at USA vandt over Australien i finalen. Dermed blev USA det første land, der vandt mesterskabet fem år i træk, og det var amerikanerkens niende titel i alt, hvorved de forbedrede deres egen rekord for flest Fed Cup-titler. Australien var i finalen for ottende år i træk, hvilket også var en forbedring af holdets egen rekord. Det vindende amerikanske hold bestod af Chris Evert-Lloyd, Tracy Austin, Rosie Casals og Kathy Jordan, mens Australien blev repræsenteret af Dianne Fromholtz, Susan Leo og Wendy Turnbull.
Resultater
Alle holdkampe bestod af tre kampe, to singler og en double, og alle kampe blev spillet bedst af tre sæt.
