Diamond Drive var et dansk hård rock-band der blev dannet i den århusianske undergrund i 2006, og eksisterede frem til 2016. De kendetegnedes bl.a. ved et melodisk og aggressivt musikunivers.
I 2009 blev de nomineret i kategorien metal ved Underground Music Awards, og i forbindelse med udgivelsen af EP'en The Infidel's EP var singlen "Infidels" på Metal Hammers kompilation, der indeholder upcoming bands fra hele Europa og i 2011 vandt de Randersmesterskaberne i Rock[1]. De har desuden turneret i England flere gange, bl.a. på The Underworld i London.
Den 2. september 2016 annoncerede bandet sin opløsning.[2]

Aggressive and melodic metal..
This is the brief characterization of Diamond Drive, which along with a forceful, energetic and enthralling live-performance marks its potential on today's rock- and metalscene - both nationally and internationally. Since 2006 the band has released three critically acclaimed EP's. Latest work, "Reset-Press-Play" from 2011, was "Demo of the Month" in Denmark's largest music magazine, Gaffa, in March 2011.
The band has toured UK four times. Both London, Brighton and Birmingham have been visited, including venues as "The Under World", "The Barfly" and legendary "The Marquee". With more than 100 concerts in the past years, Diamond Drive is an accomplished live band that fully engages and takes care of the audience.
Diamond Drive's live performance was also the main reason that they where among four other finalists in the annual “Wacken Metal Battle 2011”, and a week later won “Randersmesterskaberne i Rock” - a contest for upcoming rockbands in Denmark. Throughout the past year, the band has performed at several festivals including Royal Metal Festival, Aalborg Metal Festival and Midwinter Meltdown - sharing stage with great acts such as Arch Enemy, Decapitated, Suffocation, Entombed, Mnemic and Evile.
In the summer of 2012 the band recorded its first full-length album together with producer - and former lead-singer of HateSphere - Jacob Bredahl (The Burning, The Kandidate, Koldborn, etc.), which is why the sound is now even more intense and seducing. The repertoire on the debut album has developed into a more aggressive and energetic direction without compromising the melodic signature of the band as well. A lot of work has been invested in the project, which involves a collaboration with some of the best in the music industry, including artwork by Mircea Eftemie (Soilwork, Strapping Young Lad, Nevermore, Threat Signal, etc), mastering by Tue Madsen (The Haunted, Sick of It All, Mnemic, etc.) and photography by Stefan Wessel and Morten Rygaard (Rammstein, Chris Cornell, Timberland, etc).
Right now the band has a european tour set up in September 2013. They will be playing in the Baltics, Belgium, Germany, France, Spain, Italy and Austria. More info on tour dates coming soon.
