Black (1962-2016) var et musikprojekt fra Storbritannien. Det bestod af singer/songwriter Colin Vearncombe, og udgivelserne har gennem tiden varieret mellem at blive udgivet som "Black" og under sit eget navn.
Gruppen blev dannet af Colin Vearncombe i 1981 og havde i 1987 et hit med nummeret "Wonderful Life".

Colin Vearncombe of the band, Black. Taken at Pacific Road, Birkenhead on 22 March 2007. Black, the band that brought you Wonderful Life (easily one of the best albums of 1987) and The Christians were performing on the same night. I am a fan of both bands and was treated to a great night of 80's Liverpool Music at it's best!!!

The band was called Black, background was black, I was wearing a black jacket and Black Trousers and Black Shoes and Socks and using a black camera with a black lens! (Honest!!!)
Just a point to note: The start of the Wonderful Life video was filmed in New Brighton, Wallasey. Wallasey is my home town and is of course the greatest town on earth (apart from Grimsby)
