Paul Chelimo checks the video screeen after his second-place finish in the men's 5,000-meter run Aug. 20 in the Rio Olympic Games at Rio de Janeiro while Chelimo's idol and U.S. teammate Bernard Lagat, who finished fifth, watches his young protege. Gold medalist Mo Farah of Great Britian remains on his knees following his post-race traditio of kissing the track. The scene came before a roller-coaster ride of emotions for Chelimo, who was disqualified from the race and later reinstated via a successful appeal by USA Track & Field officials that delayed their medal ceremony until the final event of the evening at Olympic Stadium.
