:Part of a flock of ~300 pelicans riding thermals above me. Small groups sometimes broke off and flew very low over my head. This track includes 3 quiet grunting calls (0:06, 0:09, and the clearest at 0:32) and wing noise. There was a immature Bald Eagle circling very close to this group of pelicans. It's unclear whether the pelicans viewed the eagle as a threat, but this might be a part of the reason for the vocalization. Very prominent Vesper Sparrow in the foreground at the beginning of the recording.
