Airspeed indicator, "IAS" er Indicated AirSpeed, "TAS" er True AirSpeed

En flyvemaskines hastighed i forhold til den omgivende luft. Airspeed-indikatoren sidder på instrumentbrættet i cockpittet, og er en del af en flyvemaskines avionics. Data kommer fra pitotrøret.

  • The lower limit of the white line around 73 kts marks VS0 – stalling speed or the minimum steady flight speed in the landing configuration.
  • The red line at 80 kts marks VMC – minimum control speed with the critical engine inoperative.
  • The lower limit of the green arc at 80 kts marks VS1 – stalling speed or the minimum steady flight speed in the clean configuration.
  • The blue line at 105 kts marks VYSE – best rate-of-climb speed with one engine inoperative.
  • The upper limit of the white arc around 125 kts marks VFE – the maximum speed with the flaps extended.
  • The yellow arc marks caution area of speeds above VNO – maximum structural cruising speed.
  • The red line around 225 kts marks VNE – never-exceed speed.
