Aerologi er studiet af Jordens atmosfære.
Aerologer studerer ozonlaget, atmosfæriske tendenser, klimatiske og miljømæssige effekter på hele atmosfæren. Dette gøres blandt andet ved brug af satellitter, rumsonder, vejrballoner og laserudstyr.
