beskrivelse:
Recorded in Gotheberg, Sweden. Hi! My name is Alexandra Werner and I live in Sweden, my mother tongue is Swedish and I'm fluent in English and Swedish. However I'm studying Persian, Arabic and Hebrew as well as a bit of Lakotah when I got time for it. I'm studying at a gymnasium in Gothenburg and I'm 17 years old and will be 18 in December. My interest for languages began when I started learning Spanish in 5th grade. After 7th grade I got a new Spanish teacher because I changed school. That was when I got to learn a bit of Portuguese because the teacher also knew that language and I myself wanted to see if Spanish and Portuguese was so very different from each other, and they wasn't really. And because of that I began to see different patterns and the likeness in languages, two languages can be very close to eachother even if there two different languages. It becomes a lot more interesting to learn languages when you can se patterns etc. Ive been to four different elementary schools, the reason that I've changed school so many times isnt because Ive moved a lot, its rather because Ive never really fitted in. The classes hasnt been very incentive to study or learn and havnt I been able to fully show my capacity. But know however Im changing gymnasium and moving up to Uppsala, so I think thats gona be great. Then Im also going to study at university, definitely. Im not entirely sure on what Im going to study but maybe something with "lingustics" or "peace and conflic". Sweden is a very good country if you want to learn languages, different languages, just beacuse ther is a lot of different ethnicities and cultures, which makes it a lot easier. The only thing you need is to be on the right places. And yeah...I think thats it.
