One of the largest parks in the Faroe Islands is Viðarlundin also called Plantasjan in Tórshavn. There is a pond inside the park, where ducks and swans live. There are paths all over the park. The park is located between the streets Varðagøta, Hoydalsvegur and Gundadalsvegur. The Art Musueum of the Faroe Islands is located in the northern part of the park. This photo was taken on 28 July 2010 which is Ólavsøka Eve. The monument is in memory of Faroese seamen who lost their lives at sea during World War II.
