Up the hill: This archway is the beginning of a rugged set of stairs that leads to the Chapel of Our Lady, which was consecrated in 1939 and stood in times of peace from Sept. 1944 to present day. Each year, citizens from the Municipality of Schinnen lead a procession to the chapel from the main church.
