beskrivelse:
Tai-may is the symbol of power used by the Kiowa during the Skaw-tow (sun dance). The photo shows a copy of the real Tai-may doll, which was given to Hugh Lenox Scott by a Kiowa. The real Tai-may is most likely a copy of a crow doll brought to the Kiowa by an Arapaho. It is about two feet in lenght (60 cm.) and it is an image of a human figure, a woman without legs. On its head is an eagle plume
