Sunleif Rasmussen is a Faroese composer. This photo is from the Olavsoka Cantata, which he composed, here he is directing the large Olavsoka Choir, which has members from all around the Faroe Islands, he is also directing the musicians, who are standing right in front of the Faroese parliament building Løgtingið. This event is on the Faroese national holiday, the Ólavsøka (Sct. Olav's Wake), which is on 29 July. The cantata is just after the procession of the parliament members, the priests and other officials.
