There are three hospitals in the Faroe Islands, this one is Suðuroyar Sjúkrahús, the Suduroy Hospital, which is located in Tvøroyri on Suðuroy. The first hospital on Suðuroy was built in 1904. In 1953 they built a new hospital, and in 2005 a new building was built next to the old one. The other two hospitals are Landssjúkrahúsið in Tórshavn and Klaksvíkar Sjúkrahús in Klaksvík. This photo was taken on 26 June 2009 and shows only the new building.
