Photo of a representative London XI from 1865. This image has been widely published as being of a Sheffield F.C. football team taken in 1857. Recent research has identified that the players are wearing badges of the London Football Association and that the bearded gentleman in the left of the picture is Arthur Kinnaird, 11th Lord Kinnaird, a founding member of The FA.
