beskrivelse:
This now obsolete 2004 artist's rendition shows the then-newly discovered planet-like object, dubbed "Sedna," in relation to other bodies in the solar system, including Earth and the Moon; Pluto; and Quaoar. (Quaoar is now known to be roughly the size of dwarf planet Ceres. But between 2002 and 2004, Quaoar was the largest known Trans-Neptunian object other than Pluto and Pluto's moon Charon.) The diameter of Sedna is roughly three-quarters that of Pluto, but notably larger than Quaoar.
