beskrivelse:
The Saturn IB rocket was revived to launch Apollo crews to the Skylab space station in 1973. Unfortunately the original LC 34 launch pad was dismantled so a "Milkstool" was manufactured in order to let the short Saturn IB reach the umbilical intended for the taller Saturn V on LC 39B. The "milk-stool" was used three times in 1973 for Skylab crews and one time in 1975 for the Apollo-Soyuz Test Programme. This image shows the Saturn IB SA-207 rocket being moved to the launch pad, 11 June 1973.
