Ruth Smith and William Smith were two siblings from Vágur, Faroe Islands, both were artists, painters. She was born in 1913, he in 1910. Both are buried in a grave in the old cemetery of Vágur. On Ruth Smith's 100 years birthday, she and her brother were celebrated for six days in their home town Vágur with music, art exhibitions, speeches etc. This is just outside the Ruth Smith Art Museum on Vágsvegur 101 in Vágur.
