Bridge pier cross-section during construction of the 6,200-foot (1,900-metre) bridge over the Reedy Creek Mitigation Bank as part of the Poinciana Parkway in Polk and Osceola Counties in Florida. The bridge crosses mostly wetland and opened to traffic in April 2016. See Florida State Road 538 for details on the reasons for constructing the long bridge.
