Mingus Mill and flume, near Oconaluftee in the Great Smoky Mountains. The flume transports water from Mingus Creek to the mill's turbine. The mill was constructed in 1886 by Sevier County, Tennessee millwright Sion Thomas Early for John Mingus, the son of the area's first Euro-American settler.
