Immunohistochemical staining of a non-neoplastic kidney with CD10 (Nephrilysin). CD10 stains both the glomeruli and proximal convoluted tubule. CD10 is often used in a panel of immunohistochemical stains, when there is suspicion of renal cell carcinoma (which is thought to arise from the proximal convoluted tubule).
