Remains of the originally green, woolen jacket, along with its buttons and the coins of hawker or, itinerant merchant, Jan Spieker (Johann Spieker; * 1782 in Rahden, Germany; † at Goldenstedter Moor), who suddenly died in August or September 1828 while on his way through the Goldensteder Moor bog, and who later was re-interred on site. In 1978, his burial place was archaeologically excavated. The jacket is in the Loan Collection of the State Museum Landesmuseums Natur- und Mensch Oldenburg in the permanent exhibition, "Moortunnel" of the Naturschutz- und Informationszentrums (NIZ) Goldenstedter Moor e.V. in Goldenstedt, Lower Saxony, Germany.
