The March 25, 1860 issue of Illustreret Tidende had an article about the Gammelholm area of Copenhagen. This had been a yard for the Royal Danish Navy, but was replaced by Holmen in 1859. The architect Ferdinand Meldahl drew up new plans for the area the same year. The plan was shown on page 219.
