Erling D. Jacobsen is a Faroese football player, who currently (2010) plays for Víkingur Gøta and for Faroe Islands national team and for the Faroe Islands U21 national team. On 13 November 2010 he was chosen to be "Young Player of the Year 2010", in Faroese it is called "Ársins Stjørnuskot". This photo was taken on 17 October 2010 in the match against FC Suðuroy in Vágur in Vodafonedeildin (the best Faroese football division). Víkingur Gøta won the match 2-0. In 2009 Jacobsen was playing football in Denmark for FC Amager.
