beskrivelse:
Three women wearing very short skirts and midriff-baring tops are seen collecting plants in the mountains while a man looks on. A Chinese-language poem in the upper left corner describes how the Duan Qun Miao (literally Short Skirt Miao) are named for their dress (sometimes described as miniskirts although this is a post-1960s term). The album was made during the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911), probably around 1900.
