A purchased Colomba Pasquale, An Italian Sweet bread similar to Panettone and Pandoro.

It is served During Easter, and is baked in the shape of a Dove(Colomba). It contains candied peel only, rather than raisins and peel (as traditional panettone does), and is decorated/topped with a glaze, pearl sugar and almonds before baking.
