The Danish ironclad Lindormen was launched on the 8th of August 1868 at Orlogsværftet in Copenhagen. Among the onlookers were the Danish majesties, in the pavillion to the right. This drawing by Christian Eckardt appeared in Illustreret Tidende on August 16 1868.
