beskrivelse:
Sword with curved medieval-style guard and lobed Viking-style pommel. Inscribed on both sides of the blade. The pommel has a curved upper guard and is divided into five separate lobes radiation from the largest central piece. All are bisected by a groove along their length and at the point where all meet there is as small gap between the pommel and the upper guard mainly at the base of the central lobe, this shows some signs of damage/corrosion. The tang is intact and displays a wide shallow groove along its centre on both sides. The guard is curved and quite long, with a small triangular protrusion over the fuller of the blade on both faces; one half of the guard itself however is slightly deformed. The shoulder of the blade is proud of the top of the guard but is smaller than the tang. A long shallow fuller runs most of the length of the blade and is inscribed on both sides though it becomes increasingly worn as it nears the tip to the point of illegibility. The tip of the blade shows some damage but the base is in very good condition.
