Cockpit of a Douglas C-54E Skymaster. This particular plane, called the "Spirit of Freedom", was built in 1945 with serial number 44-9144. In 1992 the Berlin Airlift Historical Foundation acquired the plane and started restoration. The plane, flying with registration number N500EJ, and the Foundation educate people about the Berlin Airlift.
