Based on Jones & Mattingly's Atlas of Roman Britain (ISBN 978-1-84217-06700, 1990, reprinted 2007) — the source is cited in the image legend — it is a compilation from separate sections of the book that discuss archaeological finds, culture, and the history of the Roman conquest. The line showing the "approximate limit of coin-minting tribes" is from page 46, the coin mould finds are from page 51, the coin-producing tribes are discussed separately on pp. 52–55, and the campaigns of Aulus Plautius (both the 43 invasion and his governorship, 43-47) are pages 66–67.

The topographical map is from a sub-region of File:Uk topo en.jpg, with the copyright notice {{Bild-GFDL-GMT|migration=relicense}} and original date of 7 July 2006, copy made in 2008, with the annotations removed by myself.
