Mountain meadows in the vicinity of Bocicoel in Maramureş Mountains (Inner Eastern Carpathians) in north of Rumania / EU. Characteristic of the area is very beautiful landscape, still marked by tedious manual labor of the peasants. The meadows are still far up mowed by hand with a scythe and not processed with machines. Hay drying racks, here empty, are a common sight.
