In Beijing Niu Jie (Cow Street), across the street from the Niujie Mosque. An entire block - probably, a construction site - is fenced with a capital wall, decorated with a block-long poster depicting all 56 "recognized" ethnic groups of China (including Han) forming "The great united family of peoples" (民族团结大家庭). The figures are arranged mostly in Pinyin alphabetic order from right to left; the section is in the photo shows the following ethnic groups (right to left): Derong (独龙族), Russian (俄罗斯族), Oroqen (鄂伦春族), Ewenki (鄂温克族), Taiwanese aborigines (Gaoshan, 高山族), Hani (哈尼族), Han Chinese (汉族), Nanai (Hezhe, 赫哲族), Hui (回族), Jino (基诺族), Gin (Vietnamese origin) (京族), and maybe Jingpo (景颇族).
