The monument to Confederate Brigadier General Lewis Armistead at Gettysburg. Dedicated on July 12, 1887. Located on the Gettysburg Battlefield and marks the approximate place where Brigadier General Lewis A. Armistead was fatally wounded. The stone wall behind the monument marks the Union lines. Inscription reads:
