An aerial view of tsunami damage to the Kawara fishing port in Kesennuma, Japan, about 56 miles northeast of Sendai, taken from a U.S. Navy helicopter assigned to the aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76). Ronald Reagan is off the coast of Japan rendering humanitarian assistance and disaster relief following an 8.9 magnitude earthquake and tsunami.

• Kesennuma, Miyagi, Japan after 2011 Tōhoku earthquake and tsunami. The railway track of the Kesennuma Line runs through the center of this image. Saichi Station is taken under this image. But, it is covered with debris and the distinction is difficult.
