Photographic self-portrait by Akseli Gallen-Klallela in 1905, depicting the Finnish national romantic view of skiing, where he is seen standing on a ridge in Kodinkangas. (the photograph is taken with self-timer). In 1908, Emil Wikström made a bronze sculpture of Gallen-Kallela on the basis of this image.
