50 rigsbankdaler banknote issued by Rigsbanken in Copenhagen in 1813. The Danish monetary system collapsed in 1813 and this was one of the first banknotes in a new series launched by the Danish state through the new Rigsbank. References: Sieg 68, DOP 61, Pick A51. The banknote (no. 45111) was sold at Bruun Rasmussen Auctions on June 2, 2006 for DKK 13,000 (EUR 1,750). Lot 758/4427.
