Iranian soldiers surround the Parliament building in Tehran. The name of the file presumes the date to be August 19, 1953, the date of coup against Prime Minister Mosaddegh. However, the soldiers are all wearing winter coats which would not have been issued during August, the hottest summer month in Tehran.
