A workman taps a rubber tree, at a rubber plantation in south-central Thailand. Small plantation owners process rubber latex up to this point, then sell the sheets to a larger processor. Normally this work is done early in the morning. This photograph was taken during the day, and he wore the headlamp simply for demonstration purposes.
