beskrivelse:
Páls Høll is the first 50-meter swimming pool in the Faroe Islands. It was built in Vágur from 2012 until 2015 and opened officially on 17 October 2015. It is named after Pál Joensen, who is - until now - the best Faroese swimmer ever and the only Faroese swimmer who has competed at the Olympics. The swimming pool is heated with the warm water from the SEV-electricity power plant, Vágsverkið, which until the hall was built was running into the sea. Pál Joensen was the first to swim a length in the pool during the opening ceremony.
