  • Caption reads as follows: Harry Vallejo, the photographer, has withdrawn from his archives this first picture of the Keystone Cops, the leader of a long line of laughmakers. The subject was produced late in 1912. The personnel of the "force" would indicate Sennett was a good picker of "comers." But reading from left to right: Robert Z. Leonard, Mack Sennett, Bill Haber, Henry (Pathe) Lehrmann [Lehrman], — McAlley, Chet Franklin, Ford Sterling, Fred Mace, Arthur Tavaras [Tavares].
  • This photo appears in Mack Sennett's Fun Factory, Volume 1, by Brent E. Walker. It is identified as being from the film The Stolen Purse, filmed in November 1912.
